At the Toledo Zoo we saw lots of animals. They looked cool. We saw a tortoise. And we saw a rhinoceros. Then we saw a crane. We also saw a catfish. Here are some of my pictures. ~as dictated by Brianna and typed by her mom!
I went to Manistee with my mom, dad and sister. I loved it there. I fed the ducks. Also I fed the swans. We went fishing and also we went swimming on big Lake Michigan. We caught a lot of fish. We made sand castles and we buried our feet. Then we found baby dragonflies and ladybugs in the lake and on the land. This is a movie I made.
When the flowers are dead the seeds fall on the ground. the seeds get buried. they grow roots. and they grow a stem. and will grow some leaves. next they grow a bud. then the flowers stare to open up.
Babys mantids eat fruit flies and small crickets. Baby mantids do not have wings. They molt and grow wings. Adults eat moths and butterflies and beetles. Sometimes they eat hummingbirds, spiders and salamanders. The females eat males.
They have three body parts. They are called abdomen, thorax and head. Insects have six legs. Ladybugs eat aphids. First ladybugs start as eggs. Then they hatch into larvae. Next they turn into a pupa. Then they turn into a yellow bug. In a few days they have spots.
